Grilled Flank Steak

Ingredients:


1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 medium green onion -- sliced

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger

3 tablespoons honey

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak -- (about 1-1/2 pounds)

1 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

1 medium green pepper -- cut into thin strips

1 medium yellow or sweet red pepper -- cut into thin strips

3 medium carrots -- cut into julienne strips
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a glass baking dish, combine first seven ingredients. Set aside 1/4 cup. Place meat in remaining marinade; cover and refrigerate for 24 hours, turning once. Remove meat, discarding marinade. Grill meat over hot coals until cooked to your preference (about 15 minutes for medium). Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute vegetables in reserved marinade until tender. Slice meat at an angle into thin strips and serve with vegetables.
